MUFC ladies v Marconi preview

MANLY United’s ladies will look to string back to back wins together this Sunday on the road against Marconi.

Following a hard fought 2-0 win last start versus the Emerging Jets at Lake Macquarie, confidence has lifted.

“It was definitely the boost we needed,” skipper Bella Walker said.

“The Stallions will be tough, their players are experienced and they play well as a team.

“We will need to start well.”

A focus this week at training has been Manly’s finishing.

“If we are to go on a run, we need to convert more chances,” Walker added.

“We have enough good players to create opportunities, we just need to be clinical.”

Kick-off is 3pm at Marconi Stadium.
