Winning the women’s Reserve Grade minor premiership and grand final has been a habit for Manly United in recent years.
On Sunday they have the chance to secure another double triumph when they take on Blacktown Spartans at Valentine Sports Park.
Former Adelaide W-League player Jess Wharepouri looms as the x-factor, according to coach Chris Williams.
“Her experience could be crucial,” he said.
“Jess has played at the highest level and doesn’t panic.
“I also think Sammy Grant, Sophie Harding and Em Minett will be key figures.
“Winning would cap off another great season for the girls.”
