Macallister: “season in our hands”
Manly United striker Dylan Macallister is adamant last weekend’s hammering at the hands of APIA Leichhardt was a one-off.
“It was a wake up call, in fact it could be a blessing in disguise,” he said.
“We are a much better side than that, we just didn’t respond after going down to ten men so early after Choc (Brendan Cholakian) was sent off.
“The boys are looking forward to playing Sydney United, we know they will be desperate and have plenty of attacking threats.
“The season is still in our hands, we are confident.”
Dejan Pandurevic is likely to play as Manly’s number 10 in Cholakian’s absence, with Nikola Taneski or Scott Balderson to play out on the right.
Kick-off is 3pm at Cromer Park.
