Lockdown ends – The Far Post OPEN
The redevelopment of the Manly Warringah Football Club (Cromer Park Clubhouse) is complete and will reopen on Friday 15 October, following the relaxation of the NSW Government restrictions.
“The Far Post” will open at 3pm on Friday (15 October) and be open 7 days a week from 3pm to offer all of the Northern Beaches Football community a true “Home of Football” – a place to relax, gather and enjoy a meal or a drink where football will always be king on the TV and the chatter.
The Club is situated at Cromer Park (101 South Creek Rd, Dee Why)
The club will be open 7 days, has a fully stocked bar, draft beer on tap, café and a pub-style bistro “The Far Post” that will serve full dinner from Thursday to Saturday nights with bar snacks on a Sunday afternoon.
It has indoor and outdoor seating with a 200sqm covered deck with lights, sound system and heaters looking out over the Cromer Park No. 1 field
There is also an integrated sound system (inside and outside), AV facilities, a 65 inch TV with Sport streaming subscriptions and a TV projector to be able to watch major sporting events on a huge screen.
Below are the initial opening hours, which could be subject to change depending on how we go in the early stages.
Monday 3pm to 7.30pm Café and bar
Tuesday 3pm to 7.30pm Café and bar
Wednesday 3pm to 7.30pm Café and bar
Thursday 3pm to 9pm Café and bar
Friday 3pm to 10pm Café and bar. Bistro from 5pm
Saturday 3pm to midnight Café and bar. Bistro from 5pm

For years, decades for some people, we have been craving a Home of Football and a modern Licenced Club to be able to gather as a football community.
Everything is in place. Now all we need is to utilise the facility.
Grab your team mates and friends and head down to The Far Post.
The current relaxation of the NSW Government COVID-19 restrictions allow the Manly Warringah Football Club to have 72 seated patrons inside and 90 people on the covered outdoor deck, with standing up permitted while drinking.
Profits from the Manly Warringah Football Club will be put back into football on the Northern Beaches through the Manly Warringah Football Association, it’s 17 Clubs and Manly United Football Club.
We hope to see you at The Far Post from Friday 15 October.
