Manly United 0-1 NWS Spirit
Manly United suffered late heartbreak at Cromer Park on Sunday night, falling to a 1-0 defeat against North West Sydney Spirit after a late penalty.
Both teams had opportunities to get in front during the first half but neither was able to break the deadlock, going into the sheds at 0-0.
It took until the final minute of regulation time for the stalemate to be broken as Sophie Harding was brought down in the box and a penalty awarded.
Mary Stanic-Floody stepped up to take the penalty and finished as coolly as you like into the bottom left corner.
