Position Vacant: Groundskeeper / Cleaner (Cromer Park)
Manly United, the Manly Warringah Football Association and The Far Post are looking for a general groundskeeper / cleaner to take up a paid position and look after the Cromer Park facility.
Cromer Park is the Home of Football on the Northern Beaches and needs someone with a passion for football to do general maintenance, cleaning and field set ups for both Cromer Park and the Manly Warringah Football Club (The Far Post).
The position suits a candidate with a passion for football, general maintenance skills and the ability to juggle a flexible work schedule over the week.
Details of the role are set out below:
– Field marking, set up and take down of fields (nets), plus litter collection of the Cromer Park fields
– Cleaning, maintenance and litter collection for the amenities building (dressing rooms), grandstand and seating/surrounds around Cromer Park Field 1
– General maintenance of Cromer Park facility (as per lease, excluding field surface)
– Mowing the small area of grass on the eastern side of Cromer Park Field 1 and maintaining gardens/shrubs in club area/car park (The Far Post) – please note that mowing of the back fields (Cromer Park Fields 2-5) and all general surrounds (whole facility) are the responsibility of Northern Beaches Council
– Ensure bins are placed around fields as required and bins placed into bin enclosure for Council collection
– Litter collection around the club (The Far Post)
– Carry out minor maintenance inside and around club (The Far Post) – e.g cleaning windows, deck cleaning, etc.
– Assist with set up in club when required
– Cleaning of club as directed
– Reporting of maintenance issues at the facility, that may require a tradesman to complete
– Opening and locking of facility when required
– Assisting MWFA staff on MWFA Semi Final and Grand Final weekends
– Available for call outs in emergency situations
– Cleaning of MWFA office, amenities (Cromer Park Field 1 and Cromer Park Fields 2-3 when required), leased areas (excluding kitchen/serving area), main area, bar area, flooring and deck
– Cleaning club, including amenities, when required by management
