Manly United Take on Top Spot
By Football NSW
Sydney FC v Manly United FC
6:30pm, Sunday 27th March, Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre
Young Guns Sydney FC have had a stellar start to the season, sitting atop the NPL NSW Men’s table heading into Round 4 and will be hoping to continue their form as they host Manly United on Sunday evening.
Jim Van Weeren’s squad has exceeded expectations from NPL fans, but the young squad certainly have the talent and technical prowess to succeed in the league.
Undefeated so far, Jaiden Kuchaski and Zac Sapsford have been key for the Sky Blues, while ‘keeper Adam Pavlesic has also been impressive.
For Manly United, they have had a mixed start to the season with one win and two losses, but have shown they are capable of picking up momentum and getting the results they want in the coming rounds.
Matt Sim has provided some crucial experience to the Northern Beaches side, while Bruno Mendes, Jesse Piriz and Jimmy Oates have been impressive across the park.
Will Sydney FC be able to continue their undefeated run or will Manly United cause an upset and reignite their form?
