Manly United players earn Australian Schools selection

Two Manly United Youth League players were selected in Australian Schools teams after the 2023 School Sport Australia National Championships – congratulations to Caelan Marshall-Witte and Ruby Vernon!

Marshall-Witte is coming off a successful season with our Boys Youth League U16 team and he travelled to Canberra as part of the NSW U16 Boys team. NSW had a 100% winning record during the tournament, while Marshall-Witte was equally impressive with his performances, earning selection in the Australian Schoolboys U16 team.

Meanwhile, Vernon has been a regular feature in our Girls Youth League U18 side. She played for the NSW U18 Girls team that won the competition with five wins from five games and only conceded one goal in the process. At the conclusion of the competition, Vernon was named as a shadow player for the Australian Schoolgirls U18 team.
