Manly United ready to rattle Rockdale
Every time Manly United take on Rockdale, the feeling between the two squads is obvious.
Brendan Cholakian believes it is a form of mutual respect.
“We always look forward to playing them, you know you are in for a tough 90 minutes,” the Manly United attacking ace said this week.
“Neither team gives an inch, and you can see from the opening whistle the desire in terms of the tackles, on field chat and passion.
“We are on a good run recently, and are keen to maintain it.”
The same cannot be said for the Suns, who were beaten 5-0 by APIA Leichhardt last weekend.
“It will make them even more determined,” Cholakian said.
“We are not worried about them though, we are focused on rising up the ladder.”
X-factor Nikola Taneski is likely to feature this week after sitting out the 1-1 draw versus Blacktown City FC last weekend with concussion.
Kick-off at Cromer Park this Saturday night is 7pm.
