Manly ready for tenacious Tigers
Victory on Sunday night at home versus Northern Tigers will seal a top five finish for Manly United this season.
Utility Chloe O’Brien is confident the reigning premiers will get the job done against an opposition who could feature Matildas striker Michelle Heyman.
“It tends to be a bit of a lottery dip if she (Heyman) plays each week,” she said.
“If she is on the team sheet bring it on, I’ll back our defenders in any game.
“All year we have shown we can produce in big moments, our depth is great.”
O’Brien also praised the red-hot form of striker Claudia Cholakian, who scored a brace last start versus North Shore Mariners.
“I’m stoked for Rabbit (Cholakian), she has stood up for us this year,” she said.
“She seems to get better each week, I’m sure she will have another big game for us.”
Kick-off at Cromer Park is 5pm.
